Please watch here for announcements of public meetings that will ask for your input on the future designs of Main Street, from 407 to Major McKenzie. The Town of Markham is going to release final designs imminently - Fall, 2011.

The Conservancy is a founding member and major participant in Doors Open Markham which takes place during the weekend before Labour Day. The Train Station is open to the public during the event, staffed by volunteers , and welcomes nearly 500 visitors each year. The York Durham Heritage Railway Heritage Train shuttles between the Markham Station and Unionville Station all weekend. For more information, go to
